Bell Bottoms Up… I can get on board with that.

Lainey Wilson announced today she she’s opening up her own bar on Third Avenue just off Broadway called Bell Bottoms Up, in the space formerly known as FGL House, which was opened by Florida Georgia Line in 2017.

It was opened by Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley along in partnership with TC Restaurant group, which runs several other artist bars in downtown Nashville, including Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar, Luke’s 32 Bridge, Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa, and Morgan Wallen’s upcoming bar, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen.

Billboard has confirmed that this bar will also be part of the TC Restaurant group roster, and will feature two stages, four bars, and:

“A mezzanine floor featuring a bar lounge overlooking the first-floor stage and a dining area. The rooftop level will be home to a 1970s western-inspired aesthetic, with a dance floor, disco-inspired decor and frozen drinks.

Guests will also get a look at Wilson’s Louisiana roots through a basement-level space set to open this summer, which will include craft cocktails and a live music space.”

Lainey will help curate the cajun-inspired menu alongside chef Tomasz Wosiak, which include flavors of her home state of Louisiana with crawfish, shrimp boils and more.

The move makes Lainey just the second female artist to have their own bar in downtown Nashville, after Miranda Lambert became the first with her venue, Casa Rosa. And obviously, the artist-owned bar market down on Broadway is completely over-saturated, but I think Lainey will bring her own unique flair to it and be a welcome addition.

I’ve always thought Broadway needed more girly spaces, so I’m excited to see what Lainey brings with Bell Bottoms Up, a name inspired by her Grammy-winning 2022 album Bell Bottom Country and signature fashion look:

“I’m so excited to announce Bell Bottoms Up bar which will open later this summer in the heart of country music city!

I can’t wait for all my Wild Horses to get to experience my home away from home.”

There is no official opening date set yet, but they hope to be open sometime this summer.
