THAT’S where you draw the line?
Former NFL superstar QB Tom Brady took center stage as Netflix hosted The Roast of Tom Brady, featuring names like Brady’s former teammates Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski and Randy Moss, comedians like Kevin Hart, and even Brady’s former coach Bill Belichick taking their shots at Brady.
But apparently one joke hit below the belt…no pun intended. (Ok, it was kind of intended).
Comedian Jeff Ross was taking his turn at roasting the GOAT when he joked about Brady first being drafted by the New England Patriots:
“On the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into Robert Kraft’s office and said, ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made.
Would you like a massage?”
The joke was obviously a jab at Patriots owner Robert Kraft getting caught up in a prostitution scandal a few years ago, when he allegedly visited a Florida massage parlor for some…well, relief.
All of the charges against Kraft were eventually dropped, but apparently it’s still a sore spot for Brady.
As Ross was telling Kraft how much he loved him after the jab, Brady stood up and the microphones picked up what he said in Ross’s ear:
“Don’t say that shit again.”
Come on Tom, chill out. Relax. Go get a mas…never mind, don’t want to upset Brady.
Luckily the roast had a happy ending (just like Bob Kraft) with Brady and Ross hugging it out while smiling at each other and chatting briefly once the comedian was done.
Who knew that Brady would be so soft?
