Gonna take a while for Morgan Wallen to live this one down…
Of course by now everybody knows that the country superstar was arrested last week in Nashville after allegedly throwing a chair off the rooftop of his friend Eric Church’s new downtown bar, Chief’s.
Morgan was charged with three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct, and is set to appear back in court on May 3 after being released from jail on a $15,000 bond.
But ahead of his next court date, Morgan has to get back out on the road.
He’s headed to Mississippi this weekend on his One Night At A Time Tour to play a show at Ole Miss – a show that was rescheduled from last year when he was forced to cancel just minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage due to vocal issues.
And before Morgan heads to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin shared his excitement for the April 20 show:
No way the internet could turn that into a joke, right?
Well of course you know what happened in the replies: It was all chair-throwing jokes.

Yeah, should have seen that one coming Lane…
Now let’s just hope that the show at Ole Miss actually happens this time.
