The Wilder Blue Drop New Single “I’m Your Man,” Just In Time For Tour With Luke Combs

The Wilder Blue

Just a few months after the release of their latest albumĀ Super Natural, The Wilder Blue is back at it with new, must-listen music.

Titled “I’m Your Man,” the band’s latest single is a honky tonk heater that’ll be right at home at dancehalls across Texas, in stadiums across the country as they open for Luke Combs, and everywhere in between. With clever, catchy lyricism and a sound reminiscent of the ’90s country we all know and love, “I’m Your Man” is one of The Wilder Blue’s best singles yet, and couldn’t have been released at a better time as they head out on the road to play their biggest shows to date.

In an Instagram post, The Wilder Blue provided some brief context behind the song.

“During a short studio stint in January, we were in the mood to mess around with some 90’s influenced honkytonk sounds and we all felt this song fit the bill.

It’s a fun little tune Zane wrote in his head while driving the bus up and down the road, and Paul’s Tele with the G and B benders provided maximum twang. We self-produced this one and had a lot of fun being ourselves in the studio.”

Give the “I’m Your Man” a listen here:

Led by frontman Zane Williams, who has already had an admirable solo career on the Texas scene before forming the band, The Wilder Blue is comprised of guitarist Paul Eason, Sean Rodriguez on bass, drummer Lyndon Hughes, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Rogers. Together, these guys bring a fresh take on a classic country music sound and sure arenā€™t afraid to rock and roll a little bit.

Williams, who is responsible for the majority of the bandā€™s songwriting, released eight solo albums between 2006 and 2019, and as a result, already had a strong individual following as a respected and experienced songwriter.

Initially teaming up with Eason in 2019 after the release of his last solo album to bring the idea of The Wilder Blue to life, Williams brings his top tier songwriting to the table and the band he and Eason formed around it provides the perfect sound to back it up.

With three albums under their belt in as many years, The Wilder Blue has already received some impressively momentous endorsements from heavy hitters across the country music industry, especially from superstar Luke Combs who is not only bringing them with him on tour but also featured on The Wilder Blue’s cover of The Eagles’ “Seven Bridges Road” onĀ Super Natural.

Check that song out along with a couple more of my favorites form their catalog below.

Make sure to catch The Wilder Blue live when they come to a city near you this year. Something tells me that they’re on the verge of quite the breakthrough as their music continues to reach the masses, and the sky’s the limit from here.
