The 59th Academy ofĀ  Country Music AwardsĀ nominations are officially out this morning, and there are quite a few notable categories this year.

Luke Combs has the most nominations coming in at eight in total, with Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen coming in right behind him at six, respectively. Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson follow them with five each.

Additionally, Tracy Chapman received her first-ever nomination as Luke Combs’ hit cover of “Fast Car” was nominated in the Song of the Year category, which is awarded to the songwriter(s), publisher(s) and artist(s).

Flatland Cavalry also received a nod in the Group of the Year category which is really neat (and much deserved), and Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Jelly, Roll, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson will all compete for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award.
